Gratitude. I feel like I’ve talked a lot about gratitude but also not enough about gratitude. This month at The Place, our anthem (each month we have one song that is sung every week) is Gratitude. I first heard this song during the Christmas movie, The Chosen, in December. Brandon Lake sang it in a powerful yet vulnerable way. Gratitude is powerful enough to change my mindset yet also puts me in a vulnerable position to admit that the things in my life to be grateful for are outside of my control. In the midst of the craziness of our world, it is easy to lose sight of the big picture. Gratitude brings me back to a place of resting in God and His goodness.
Conejo Family, we have many families going through trials involving sickness, death, broken relationships, financial stress, and more. Please keep all our families in your prayers. God knows what each family needs. I’m grateful for a school family that cares about each other. Thank you for being a part of the Conejo Family!
