Do you ever feel like you just need more time? Just one more week to prepare for our concert would be delightful! Just 10 more minutes in the massage chair would remove that last knot. Just one more day of vacation would satisfy my desire to relax. Just…the list is never ending but we are never given more time in life. Each day has 24 hours, each week has 7 days, and every year has 52 weeks. I suppose if you want to be accurate, we get an extra day every four years but is it really an extra day or just time continuing to march along. Ready or not, the program will arrive, the massage will conclude, and the vacation will come to an end. Time is a gift. I need to enjoy that gift in the moment and not lament the time that has speedily gone by me. 
 
Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can.
