Take Time

Published: October 24, 2024      Updated: October 24, 2024

I’ve been away all week, and the days have blurred into one giant day. I’m pretty sure it is Thursday though, and another week is almost over. Next week, several teachers, including myself, have meetings so I’m preparing myself for another out-of-the-ordinary week. At the close of my conference this week, we looked at some quotes from Mark John Comer, the author I talked about a couple of weeks ago. Seems like God is speaking to me because I keep getting reminders about time. Here is the quote I will leave you with: When we hurry, we miss out on the beauty and richness of the present moment (The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry). The holidays are approaching, and additional events tend to make me rush from one thing to another without enjoying the event or the season. My prayer is to be present in the moment not just today but in the days, weeks, and months to come.

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity… Ephesians 5:15-16a NLT
