Connected to Power

Published: January 16, 2025      Updated: January 16, 2025

We have power!!! Today is a fantastic day and no one can change my mind! Over the last two weeks, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve entered a room and flipped on the light switch even though I’m very aware that the electricity required for light is not functioning. My actions are just an automatic response to entering a dark room. It makes me think about other areas in my life that are just automatic responses without thought. My thoughts also make me wonder if I’m connected to THE Power source of life. Is God just someone I take for granted and automatically go through the motions of flipping the switch even though it is devoid of power? Am I disconnected from God’s power in my life? Big questions to ask myself today.

Thank you, Conejo Family, for hanging in there with us! We’ve had an unpredictable start to 2025, but things are starting to stabilize. Huge thanks for the generators, lights, and other accessories to get us through these last two weeks. We couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you!

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you; My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. Psalms 63:1 NLT
