Hello 2022! It seems a little surreal to be living in the two thousand twenties. Life in general seems to be a little surreal these days yet God is present. This week was challenging in several ways…getting up early, returning to the responsibility of educating my students, juggling staff to cover classrooms, asking staff to do extra duties, and more but…here we are, almost to the end of another week. I’m so grateful and humbled by people around me who willingly help even at the cost of their time and energy. (Mrs. Mayer has a beautiful story of the generosity of others this week!)
Sixth grade is studying about Esther right now and our Treasure Verse for the week is so appropriate. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this? Powerful words for us even today. Who knows if your present situation puts you in a position to be an influence for good? Or if the words you are impressed to speak are the encouragement that gets someone through the day? Or if the long line you had to stand in allowed you to run into a long-lost friend? God is SO present in the smallest details of our lives and our days if we just look for his goodness and listen for his voice.
Happy New Year Conejo Family!
