How are you today? I’m feeling a little in limbo myself. The calendar continues to shock me as the days pass by and suddenly it is mid-November. Should I be preparing for Thanksgiving? Am I having a Thanksgiving this year? Is my family coming or should we postpone our yearly gathering? Should I just start preparing for Christmas? I feel a little lost and uncertain. You certainly can’t tell from my office, but I prefer things to be in order and predictable. Life lost its predictability months ago and I think it is finally catching up to me…at least today it is catching up to me, but tomorrow is a new day. I’m once again grateful I’m not in charge of the universe and even more grateful I know the God who is in charge.
I pray you are all in good spirits today. Whether you have plans for Thanksgiving or are in limbo like me, I pray you are thankful for your life. What a gift to have a place to live, food to eat, and air to breathe. We are blessed!
Happy Mid-November to you all!
Mrs. Lew
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
