Well, this week was certainly not what I expected. The stomach flu has escaped me for at least a dozen years or so, but this week, it found me. Not fun. Not enjoyable. Not recommended. However, it did remind me the world does not revolve around me and just how lovely the people in my life are to me.
I’m blessed to have a staff who fills in the gaps when I’m not there, blessed to have friends transport my daughter, blessed to have friends texting me to get well, blessed beyond measure. Thank you, staff and friends for being there for me this week.
My last word of advice, don’t get the stomach flu!
